modesto-articleOn Saturday, July 7th RAVEN responded to the area of Marlette Lake for a downed para-glider with possibly two broken legs. HASTY Member Andy Monroe was lowered along with the backboard and litter. Monroe singlehandedly prepared

the patient and loaded him into the stretcher while working from an extremely steep cliff. Once the victim was prepped, he was hoisted into the aircraft in the litter. HASTY Member Monroe was next hoisted in to the aircraft and the patient was transported to Ponderosa Ranch, where he was transferred to Careflight 2.
