Law Enforcement Memorial Run

Yesterday, several staff from the Sheriff's Office participated in the Law Enforcement Memorial Torch Run honoring fallen officers from the State of Nevada. ‎WCSO‬ Deputies from various divisions ran a 12 mile leg from Smith Valley to Wellington to memorialize those officers who made the ultimate sacrifice. Leading the pack was our own K9 Rony who carried the baton first, then passed to the remaining team members. Inside the baton was the roll call of the officers who had lost their lives this year. The baton was carried from Las Vegas and delivered to the State Law Enforcement Officer's Memorial in Carson City last night.
